Turning on the water in your home after it has been shut off for a while
I had been away from home for a while. While I was away the water had been shut off. The water has now been turned back on, however when I open the faucets in various parts of the house no water comes out. What do I have to do now?

Where exactly was the water shut off? At the Meter? Or inside the house at the main valve?

If it was at the meter there is usually another valve to shut the supply where it enters the house (inside the house) that might be closed.
