Is birth control making me sick?
I recently started Junel fe 1/20. I have taken the pill at the same time every day, and I just took pill #4 on the sugar pill. I started my "period" yesterday, and it is a little bit of cramping and a lot of thick, dark brown, what look to be blood clots. There is some regular red blood, but it is very light.

On the second day of starting my pill, I had protected sex, and he pulled out. Then the second week of my pill, I had unprotected sex, he pulled out, and THEN I took a plan b pill the next day.

My question is #1 could I be pregnant?
My question #2 is is it dangerous that I am having very thick-clot like blood?

    1) Could you be pregnant? Yes, there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective.

    2) No, this is not dangerous in and of itself, this could be caused by the combination of the pill and the Plan B.

1). You could be pregnant but the odds are against it. Why did you take a plan B during the second month of birthcontrol? Or was this all during your first month? Regardless you had your period.

    2). What J_9 said.
