HELP! I have a non-programmable Trane Thermostat. It has a blank display. I assumed that the breaker had blown. I checked the breaker on the outdoor unit. It is in the 'ON' position. I also reset the break on the master panel. THe thermostat came back on. I turned the heat on. Everything worked for about 5 minutes... then the thermostat went blank again. Any ideas or suggestions?

What model is it?

No Battery... I have no idea the model #... I finally, after switching the breaker form off to on several time, got it to come on. I am afraid that if I take it off the wall to check the # it won't come back on. Also, now that it is back on, it will only work on 'Emergency Heat'. And did I mention... IT'S COLD
