I'm not due my period for another 2 weeks and my periods are always regular, but I started experiencing some light bleeding yesterday, it's a darkish brown colour and not like my normal periods. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex about 12 days ago, then I took the morning after pill the day after, we then had protected sex 8 days ago. Could I be pregnant? Am I experiencing implantation bleeding or is the bleeding due to an effect of the pill? All replies are greatly appreciated! Thank you guys!

There's really no way to tell you what's causing the bleeding. It could very well be because of the morning after pill, which can throw off your period, and cause bleeding between your normal cycle, or 2 cycles in one month. But it's also possible that this is due to pregnancy.

There's just really no way to know until you test, and it's too soon to test at this point.

Wait until your normal period is due. If you miss it, wait two weeks, then test using first morning urine. Having said that, I would test even if you do get a supposed period (after 2 weeks) because the morning after pill could throw everything off.

You have to wait until you are two weeks late. Then take a HPT. Until then all anyone would be doing is making worthless guesses as there are no reliable indicators until you are significantly late for your period. Anyone that claims there is... are repeating old wives tales and unproven information.
