Washing machine and pumping out through drain pump
I have a stand alone drain pump attached to my washing machine on the ground floor of my house. its purpose is to carry the dirty drained water from the washing machine , into this pump and then carry it up to the ceiling n over into the bathroom to ultimately go out the same drain a shower drain uses it worked fine until I had a new washing machine installed. Does the drain hose have to be set up on a certain position to drain out all the water from the wash machine?

    Hi Deb

OK, now that I know what you are asking about maybe we can help... ;)

I'm a little confused on the issue at hand, however, as it seems that your washing machine may be having an issue completely emptying out... yes? If this is the case, please confirm.

In terms of the washing machine discharge hose, it should loop up above the top of the washing machine before turning back down to connect into the pump/pump system... keeps the washer from emptying via gravity,

Please elaborate a little more as to the exact issue/question, OK?
