I have the serial # of my murry push mower( 22273x50a) I need the model #

Serial number rarely can get you anywhere unless you have a model#. Murray has a help desk, I'd start there.

First let my say that you have supplied the model number. The first two numbers are the deck size, 22", the next three descbe the build features, the X is a separator and the 50 and A are the company it was built for(50) and the fact that it was the second rendition of it. Are you in the US? I do not recognize the vendor(50) and do not find a 22273 vaersion anywhere in the US. Do you see a Date Code on that Tag?

I have the same one 22273X50A. Date code 0103. Having trouble finding info and parts online. Was looking for an engine stop cable. Ended up measuring cable and sheath length and ordered one a bit longer online. Waiting for part to arrive, we will see how it works shortly. In meantime have been using a tie wrap to engage and just cut tie wrap to stop engine.
