My husband and I practice CDD. (Christian Domestic Discipline)
And After 2 mis carriages I entering my 4th month and have been put on bed rest. Is it okay to keep practicing CDD? As far as the spankings at least?

As a pastor's daughter and as a psychotherapist, I say no.

Absolutely not!

It really depends on what you want. If you want to carry this pregnancy to term, then no, you can't practice CDD.

If your husband won't step up to the plate in order to for you to bear his child, then yes, go ahead, practice CDD, have another miscarriage (or in this case more likely a still birth), and live as a couple without children.

Doctors don't put women on bed rest for gits and shiggles. When they say bed rest, they mean it. Don't follow those orders, and you'll lose this pregnancy.

But I realize it's not your decision to make. So ask your husband if he wants this child. If he does, he's going to have to follow doctors orders. Not easy to follow orders when you're used to being the ruler of all.
