I need to know is this normal my period for August came on the 31st but in September it came on the 19th wasn't much of a period though. This month I haven't started yet I took a test today it was negative.

Are you periods normally irregular? I am assuming you've been having unprotected sex? Are you on any birthcontrol?

Usually home pregnancy tests are most accurate 14 or more days after your missed period, if you don't know when the missed period is supposed to then it will be a shot in the dark. I can't say how accurate or when you would have to take it.
