    Hamilton winchester furnace
This furnace ignites just fine. But then after burning about 3seconds it cuts off. What causes this?

If this is spark or hot surface (glow plug) ignition, there should be a rod with a porcelain insulator & one wire on the opposite end of the burner rack from the ignition. Remove this rod, clean with fine steel wool or a scotch brite pad & reinstall. Try firing the furnace again.
