Unless you have introduced new foods, which you shouldn't have. It's called a newborn rash and is very common. Make sure you are not using any harsh soaps on her skin or in her laundry.

I suggest using something that is made strictly for baby's soft sensitive skin.

If you've been making your own laundry soap, and using it, since your baby was born, and the rash only appeared recently, it's unlikely that it's due to the laundry soap. But allergies can form in time, so it is possible that she's developed an allergy to the homemade soap.

Here's a link to a site explaining some of the rashes newborns get.

Last but not least, if this is a concern for you, it's always best to discuss it with your pediatrician.

Good luck, and congrats on your new addition. :)
