    Child support
Is it true that I cannot get my husband (now seperated) to pay child support if he is being paid under the table? He files his taxes, so, won't there be an imbalance between expenses versus income? He has bought three properties so far and I am wondering how that impacts me if I take him up for child support?

I can answer this question with quite confidence for you. It happened to me. Have your lawyer make it a point to let the court know that your ex does side jobs for cash, therefore when considering his "income" they will need to request not only W2's but bank statements as well. The court looked at W2's and bank statements for my ex and decided then what his actual "income" was and set child support based off that. I live in WI and maybe the laws are different but its worth your attorney bringing it to the judges attention. Good luck
