I have an H4 visa as spouse, my husband has a H1. He is an alcoholic, I'd like to leave him but not sure what todo. Do not want to go back to my home country. What are my options?

H4 status would end when... your divorce is final, OR he no longer holds H1 visa, OR either one of you die.

If you don't want to return to your home country and don't want to maintain current status, you should change your status from H4 to H1, find a job with sponsor.
