Hi,I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days I've been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort when and after I urinate.it feels as if my bladder is so full but when I rush to the bathroom there's hardly even any urine but it burns a lot. What scared me more was that this morning after I urinated after I wiped I saw 2 really small pieces or dots of blood,I'm not sure what it really was but I feel really scared and uneasy. Could someone please advise as to what this may be?

It sounds like a urinary tract infection. A trip to your doctor is in order.

And what about the blood?is that normal when someone has a UTI?

It can be if the uti is bad enough. Untreated uti's can also lead to a miscarriage. So, please, go see your doctor as soon as possible.

I will be going to the doctor this evening however is there any home remedies to ease the discomfort till I get to the doctor

Cranberry juice is the best thing to drink when you have a UTI.

Okay so I've been to my doctor and he says because I'm 8 weeks there is no antibiotics that he can give me ,the only one that can help me is penicilin which I am allergic to so he says I should have a glass of citro soda for 4 days and drink a lot of water and cranberry juice,I just hope this helps me.
