Hi, I'm 12 years old and I haven't had my period yet . And lately I've been seeing brown discharge... I have been looking at many different sites and some tell me its my period and others say it’s a infection.. They all say that it’s a small amount... But I don't have a small amount , I have quite a lot, I'm quite scared to tell my mom because were not so close . But ill tell her after I get confirmation . THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

No, you talk to her now, you have to get over being scared to talk to your mother about female issues, you will have many over the next 6 years or so. Please discuss it with her, Yes it is most likely your period getting ready to start coming.
