    Bee sting
Was stung by a bee on Saturday in left calf. No allergy that I know of. It is still swollen and very sore. Calf muscle seems not to be in relaxed state. Hard to walk without pain. Should I seek treatment or will this pass?

Bee venom produces a histamine reaction, causing inflammation and swelling. If the swelling has not started going down after 96 hours, you may be becoming sensitized and could develop an allergy, so contact a physician Wednesday if symptoms persist.

I would seek treatment tomorrow if you are still in pain or have swelling. I have severe allergies to bee stings and have been told to report swelling to my doctor. My allergist considers any swelling the size of a quarter a reportable incident.
