    Well pump froze
I live out in the country so I don't have city water. My pump to my well froze last winter and I hire a local handyman to unfreeze my water. He is no longer in the area and now when I take a shower or run water its like it loses pressure and the water spits out until it builds up pressure and runs normal again for awhile. If I run the water in the sink next to the shower while I am showering, it seems to help build up the pressure faster.
I have a flowing well. Any ideas what maybe causing this?

    1. Is the pump in the well or above ground?

    2. If it's in the well, do you have a bladder type pressure tank (usually painted) or one of the older galvanized tanks?
