    Bathtub/shower valve installation question
I am installing a 60" bathtub WITHOUTa shower. Can I use a standard single handle tub/shower valve and cap off the outlet on the valve that would feed the shower. I can't seem to find a tub only style. In fact its very hard to find a wall mount tub spout with 3 handles also. Thanks any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sure can, typically 1/2" IP, use a brass plug. You can also buy a 2 handle shower set, invert the cross tee and install a tub spout-water doesn't know up from down. There may be a flow restrictor port in the shower side which you would remove for the tub.
