My daughter needs to get the pneumovax shot to help her immune system and was just wondering what the side effects were to the shot and how long do they last?

This is something the nurse, or whoever is giving the shot, will go over in detail. Any questions you have should be asked then. Since we really don't know your child's medical history, allergies, past history with shots and any reactions, it would be pretty pointless to give you a list.
