Can a fortess interlock be replaced on an air cicuit breaker on site safely
I want to change a fortress interlock on an air circuit breaker, It's a 2000 amp unit and the interlock key and barrel has come away from the fixed part of the interlock which is attached to the breaker. Can it be accessed from behind to reattach the key barrel. Please help

    Call a professional...
A 2000 amp service with keyed interlocks is intended to provide near fool proof safety on high danger equipment. This "MUST" be repaired correctly and as soon as possible...
Do not guess at this, these interlocks are sometimes installed for multiple utility supplies which can be disastrous when operated incorrectly...

How much do know about this?
