Can you please do me a favour & check out which is a better processor between Pentium D processor 820 with Dual Core Technology(2.80GHZ,800FSB)

    And

    Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6300 (1.86GHz, 1066 FSB)

Intel Core 2 Duo is the way to go. Currently the Core 2 Duo series are the fastest processors run now. It also runs much cooler than the old Pentium 4s.

Search the processor and you will find tons of reviews raving about the speed and ease of overclocking, etc.

I would advise you to get an AMD X2 5600+.

It is the same price as the Intel E6300 but performs much better!

AMDs are great processors. But the Core 2 Duo is the first processor from Intel in a long time that outperforms the AMDs.

The earlier Dual Core models like the 650 don't come close to matching the AMD X2s.
