I started to ovulate Thursday and my period is due in 9 days. I suffer from severe PMS sometimes. Is this my PMS symptoms acting up? Or something else?

Withdrawl is not a good method of birthcontrol. You're still fertile, and he's still getting sperm into your system. There is no contraception here. You're just playing around with odds and not in a good way. There is a good chance you might have gotten pregnant. So unless you're trying for a child I would suggest having something else there.
