Positive test at 5 weeks,Now 18 weeks with light to medium bleeding for the last day in a half with brownish to dark red so decided to take another test and it came back negative.Been laying down on my left side and using panty liners.What should I do?Should I worry cause I am!

It may have been a false negative. If you tested positive you're likely pregnant, false positives are very rare. Not impossible, but rare. If you had miscarried a pregnancy test would likely still come back positive, as the hcg hormone would still be in your system for up to a month.

Have you seen a doctor about this bleeding? Have you gone to the hospital? Any bleeding during pregnancy is cause for concern, and should be discussed with a medical professional immediately.

Have you confirmed the pregnancy at the doctor ?

The Dates confused me, how many week pregnant now ? ( estimated, since you would not know for sure) How many weeks since first positive test ?

But going to the doctor for an exam would be a good idea

Well I'm guessing about 18 weeks I was on the Mereina iud for 7 yrs without a period and went to the obgyn and had it removed and never bled and they gave me a shot that day and then I missed my appointment for my next shot séance me and my husband had went to Vegas for are honey moon during that time after we got married.I got the depo shot March 21,2013 and it ended June 14,2013 but we got Married June 8,2013 and we had unprotected sex multiple times before and after the shot ended and I still didn't get a period for 2 months but the 1st missed period was on June 28,2013 and I got a negative and then the day of my 2nd missed period on July 28,2013 I got a positive test and after that I had no bleeding until a couple days ago and I am still having bleeding but I have had all the pregnancy symptoms and have gained 20 lbs already and everyone keeps asking me if I am carrying twins and I have a bump and everything and no I haven't been able to get in to the doctor yet because my obgyn's office is pretty packed but I have an appointment on Oct 8th witch is this Tuesday at 10:00 a.m and I was confused of what I should do.I was going to call her first thing in the morning and see what she says.

I have been pregnant before 3 times and I had bleeding with first child but it was more like spotting here and there and not like this and I also had preeclampsia with my first child.I have never had a miscarriage and didn't know what to expect.My eldest is 9 yrs and my youngest is 6 years and the middle child is 7 years.

The bleeding has stopped!

Just a follow up.I went to see my doctor today and they did another urine test and she said it was positive.I guess the cheap one I used didn't work from dollar general.She said everything was fine and no more bleeding and my cervix is still closed and I found out today that I am about 4-5 months she is guessing.They are doing a 48 hour blood test to see if I have enough hcg in my system so they can see if they can do a sonogram on 10-10-13 witch is on Thursday.So I am guessing I will find out for sure how far along I am on Thursday hopefully but I didn't really get an explanation for the bleeding yet!
