    Typically bright red blood in stool is related to hemorrhoids or anal fissures.

    Blood in your stool can be indicative of colon cancer. I advise you to get a colonoscopy done by your doctor. It can also be due to bleeding hemrroids. It can also be due to a tear of the rectal tissue due to forced defecation as a result of being constipated. It can also be due to anal sex or maybe its not even blood you see. Instead it could be the residue of the beets you ate for dinner. Hope this was helpful.
