Gas burners take two or three times before they will stay lit.
Hello : I have a Carrier Gas furnace 8000TS Model 58TUA100-12. I noticed the burners come on and immediately go off this might happen two or three times before they stay lit. Any idea what could be wrong ?

There's a strong possibility the flame sensing rod needs to be cleaned. This rod has one wire going to it & is usually mounted to the burner assembly with one 1/4" hex head screw. Unplug the wire, remove the rod, clean the end which sticks into the flame with a scotch brite pad or fine steel wool, reinstall & try it.
