Hi, I'm 23 years old.. I'm taking Diane 35 pills for 20 days from now and it's my first time to take pills. I'm using it for my acne problem.. I don't take it on my first day of menstruation as instructed.So, my concern right now is I'm already 9 days delayed and I never engaged in sex. WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

Since these are hormonal pills, it can take upwards of a couple of months for your body to regulate to the hormones. If you aren't sexually active there is nothing to worry about.

And by not following directions, it may alter and change your monthly cycle.
