96 Civic alternator fuse blows out
I just had my alternator changed on my 96 civic sedan. Now the relay/alternator fuse keeps on burning out? Any ideas.

    Thoughts:

. Disconnect negative. Battery terminal and check out the 4-P connector and wiring harness.
. If the negative. Battery terminal wasn't disconnected before working on the new alternator, the alternator may have been shorted out (the voltage regulator).
. You could also have a bad alternator out of the box. Take it back to the guy who did the work and get him to fix it.
. The fuse that keeps blowing also often controls power to cruise control, gauges, and SRS.
