    Landlaw breaks lease
    I signed a lease to move into a house, gave my deposit . 3 days before my move the owner is giving me back my money and breaking the lease . My house is compeletly packed the utilities have been changed everything is done . What expences is he responsible for. Thank you doreen

    Why is he breaking, did you sign a lease or a application, was there background checks that had to be cleared prior to the lease taking effects ?

    The reason as to why, he is breaking it, will give more and better answers,

    If he is breaking a valid lease, he can be sued for your looses.

    I signed a lease march 9. mar 27 the house was still not near ready for move in. I called him ,he said he couldn't have it ready so forget it . I told him I would wait till April 15 .he said no he would bring me my deposit back. My problem is the huge amount of time and effort I made packing up my entire house and getting my old house ready to move out changing all the utilities giving my 30 day notice and countless other things now I would need to change everything and out my entire house back thanks doreen
