Ge gss23wgsc icing up on rear freezer wall
My GE suddenly stopped being old in the freezer. I cleaned the very dirty coil in the rear access area. I restarted and checked in a couple of hours. Now the rear wall is heavy with frost/ice. Temp is not dropping. Is this model a problem?

GE gss23wgsc side by side refrigerator assembly
How do you remove the rear wall inside cover in the freezer side? I see 4 screws . Do the rubber strips on the side just come out with the panel?

Does the upper light cover come off first?

    Thank You

No, it's not a problem. You need to check it out further. Probably, the defrost system has failed, so the best thing to do is to replace the heater, terminator, and defrost timer. They wear out in 5-10 years and need replacing. Be careful not to bend any refrigerant lines.

    Here is a manual: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...ide_refrig.pdf
Those kind of things often take some experimenting or a look at a diagram to figure out.
