So my Mother never really pas attention to me and she's always threatening to send me to my dad, who isn't a part of my life, over stupid things. The summer of 2011 she sent me to my dad who was a complete stranger at the time and then came and got me about a week and a half later. Thursday, September 19, 2013, she sent me away once again. She left me at my grandfathers house without explanation to anyone just saying that my dad was coming to get me. My dad never showed up and I have missed a total of five school days. Does this count as child abandonment?

No. But, if your father or grandparents try to get custody of you, it could help them do it.

No, it is not abandonment but it does allow them to have reason to seek cusotdy.
