I'm 23 yrs old and I have been feeling sick for a week now. It started last week when I just started to feel hot, and even my boyfriend said I seem to have a fever. Then I started to have diarrhea for a few days(sorry tmi) . I have been having bad cramps for some days now. I was hoping I was pregnant after trying for 3 yrs with no luck, but I think its something else. I have been nausea the whole time and the cramps come and go but stay for almost the whole day. I don't know if its serious but either way I can't go to the hospital Im not insured and I already have a big bill. The last time I went my side was hurting for actually months till I went. They thought it was some type of std,but of course it wasn't. They did a physical and that was that . They said they couldn't find anything and I should go to my family doctor for anything else and gave me pain pills. So now I really don't want to go back if its nothing serious.

Don't go to the hospital or ER unless it's truly emergent. They can, and will, charge you a much higher fee.

Without insurance, find an urgent care or PCP that will take self-pay patients.

You may have the flu, but of course no one can diagnose you over the Internet. Drink plenty of fluids and try to get into a doctor. There is always the chance of gall bladder attack or appendicitis - better be safe than sorry.
