It seems the market economy isn't the road to happiness that the conservatives might think, people are actually happier in economies where some of life's little bumbs are ironed out or paved over. This is why in economies where there are strong conservative governments you get public policy that looks like a camel

The market economy requires consumers, broke consumers, no economy. Easily corrected with better circulation. Or change the business model by outlawing rich guys hoarding all the money and hiding it from the rest of the WORLD.

Or put 'em in jail with there conservative henchmen.

I understand that approach is called taxation but a better plan is confiscation.

If you read the link you will find they found that there is a definite multiplier effect from redressing some of societies woes. In my own economy this is evident social justice equals economic prosperity
