Hi. I am 25 yrs old and it was my 1st time to have sex. My last period was on 9th of August that lasted until the 16th. I had unprotected sex on the 8th and 9th of September. My partner withdraw before he came. Until now I don't have period but experiencing Bloating and my nipples hurt,I have irregular periods and last year my gynecologist said I have POlycystic Ovaries. I was taking COC to regulate my menstruation for 3 months then stopped as advised . I am so scared now. I can't get pregnant. Am I?

The only way to diagnose pregnancy is with a urine test, a blood test, or an ultrasound in later pregnancy. In other words, we really cannot tell you online, if you're pregnant.

Is it possible? Yes, you had sex, so it's possible.

Wait until your period is at least 2 weeks late, then test using first morning urine. If that test is negative wait for your next period and if you miss it, test again or get a blood test.

I did pregnancy test 10 days after I had sex and it was negative. I swear it was daunting waiting for that minutes to see the result.

A test 10 days after sex is worthless. You have to be over 14 days late for period, Test needs to be done with first urine of the morning.

That's the problem there. I don't know when my period for the month of September since I am irregular but I was thinking it will come on the day I had sex but nothing came until now.

Testing 10 days after sex is too early. You won't get a reliable result at that time.

If your periods are irregular and you really don't know when your period is late, test at least a month after sex. Use first morning urine when you test. Realize that false negatives are common, so a negative doesn't mean you're definitely not pregnant. False negatives happen if you test too soon, use an expired test, test incorrectly, the test malfunctions, etc. etc. False negative urine tests are very common. Some women don't get a reliable result until well into their second trimester.

I took another pregnancy test yesterday which made it 17 days after unprotected sex and again it was negative. This is not the first time I missed periods since I have irregular periods ever since. Last year I did not bleed for 3 months and I was still a virgin then. And lately I am pretty emotional and lost a little weight at the end days of August (before my first sexual contact).

In order for a test to be accurate it should be taken when your period is at least 2 weeks late. Not 2 weeks after sex. If you have an irregular period and can't rely on it to know when to test, test around a month after sex. At 17 days after sex it's still too early.
