I am 55 years old and have not had a period since 2008. Last week I had the cramps you get before starting and a very little spot of blood when I would wipe. The spots were very small and lasted just a few days but were not there every time I checked. Is this a change of life thing? I have never has a bad pap result ever. Should I go see someone or just see if it happens again.

I'm 49 and haven't had one since about 2009. Spotted two months ago. It's most likely nothing more than a hormonal swing.

I agree, my wife has not had one in 10 or so years, she does spot every now and then.
