In the space of a year ,four times this has happened, after sex with my boyfriend my vagina smelled like condom.we do not use condoms so I assumed he had cheated on me.I figured no matter how well he washed his penis ,after he next ejaculated ,the condom smell would come out (into me). I was scared and thought oh no! Disbelief. I have told him each time what I smelled but he denies it and gets upset that I don't trust him.I say I do(did?) trust him its just that I smelled condom!! I know what people can be capable of e.g. lying cheating. So it's hard to just believe him.. I feel like he's been unfaithful but I can't find out or know for sure.:(.. It is time consuming and stressful trying to believe him but feeling confused and hurt that he mite have... any advice ?thanks..

Advice? Well, how about you don't make stuff up to try and accuse him of cheating on you. I mean, maybe he is, maybe he isn't... that I can't tell you... but to be completely honest here, you smell like a condom after sex with him so you decide that it has to be him cheating on you because somehow the smell of the condom will still be on or in him after he's cheated on you? Does that sound normal to you?

That is imagination... if you keep throwing that at him, eventually he is going to get tired of you accusing him over nothing and if he's smart, will tell you where it's at after he's had enough of it.

Are you serious? Really, you can't be serious. You think you smell condom after sex, so he must be cheating on you? That's insane First, even if he wore a condom minutes before having sex with you, and then took it off, you would not smell it. But you're saying he wore it while supposedly cheating on you, likely showered after, then had sex with you and his penis... what... absorbed the condom and put condom residue into your vagina?

Do you not see how totally crazy that is?

Look, if you don't trust him, then dump him. But stop making things up so you can accuse him of something you have no proof, or no valid suspicion, that he's doing.

Imagination is all I can think of. You are so caught up in the possibility that he's cheating that your mind is playing tricks on you. Like Alty said, even if he was cheating and wearing a condom, it wouldn't be left over hours later.

So after sex you smell your vagina, and you think it smells like a condom?

Maybe you have an infection, or he does and his sperm is smelling funky. But smelling a condom, when he didn't wear one with you, and probably didn't wear one for hours, if he's cheating, is not possible, no matter how good your sense of smell is.

Continuing to accuse someone of cheating based on that, is ridiculous.

As identified, you have trust issues. Where this is going to go sideways is that you're going to trust, but be suspicious. You're going to, as you have been, assume he's doing something and subtly try to catch him. Either this is going to drive him to do it, or you're going to find some ghost bit of evidence that's going to 'convict him' that will validate your suspicions, or he's going to leave because he's tired of this bullsh..

A few things to consider. As you get more aroused and as you get closer to climax your body will change in odour and your sense of smell might change as well. It is part and parcel of the hormone cocktail going through your system. What you might smell might not be what's going on. As well it could be, as suggested, a sign that there is something not right "down there".

Are you using anything other then withdrawal method? Are you prepared to become pregnant. You're playing long odds that you're not going to get pregnant and if you get pregnant then you're going to be tied to him for the REST of your life, or you will chose to "fix" this problem and that'll probably add another dimension of strain to the relationship.

Please give him the benefit of the doubt, especially if this is ALL you have to go on.

The trust issue has been well covered and I agree with what has been said.

I will give your nose the benefit of the doubt and mention something's that might be causing the odor.

Have you noticed any similarities between the times you detect this odor? Such as food eaten, time of the month, change in hand soap, etc.

Are you using any form of spermicide? Do you use toys? Have you played with lubricants or pleasure enhancing gels including those designed to prolong erections?

Do either of you use latex gloves for work or household chores?

There are lots of items that you may not notice their smells until body heat warms them or any residue up. It could be something that was ingested causing a different smell.

I think your nose is picking up on a few different smells and associating the mix with the only reference it can think of. Even the most sensitive noses can be tricked.

I am also going to add that you might think about changing your form of birth control before an accident occurs.
