    Daughter's Eating
Last July, 2006, my then 8 year old daughter suddenly changed her eating habits. She cut out junk food totally and became obsessed with reading the labels on all the foods she ate. She has lost 7 lbs. which she didn't need to lose. She plays Travel Soccer and Basketball 4 days a week. She get sufficient exercise. She will not eat anything if she thinks there is too much fat in it. She will not eat any fast food - which is good in a way. She eats healthy but I am concerned she is heading down the wrong road. Any advise?

This is always a good road to head down, but she may feel like she is fat, or trying to be as skinny as other girls.. I would repare somewhat junky.healty food you and your daughter could eat, and make sure there is a balance, or she could suffer health problems..

She is only 8 yrs old.. you should be in control of her diet, she is far too young to do that herself.
