    Safe sex?
Me and my boyfriend have sex all the time. Is it bad and unsafe if we skip showers after every time if his semen is inside me? If not how? Yes I'm on birth control

What type of birth control are you using?

When does what come out? Once he inserts his penis into your vagina there's already sperm there from the early fluids that make him slippery enough to enter. When he ejaculates, unless he's wearing a condom, the ejaculate is inside you. Showering won't get it out, jumping up and down won't get it out. There is no getting it out. A little bit might leak out, but the majority of it stays in.

There is no form of birth control that's 100% effective. Even if you double up the birth control, pill and condom, there's still a chance of pregnancy.

No form of birth control is 100 percent, he should still be using a condom. Pregnancy is still possible like this.

Showers does not make it come out ( where did you ever think of that idea?) it does make you smell less like a person who just had sex.

Okay. I use femine wash every time... I just felt cleaner afterwards is all. I don't think I can have kids because I yhink I would have had one by now. Im 26 and have been sexually active since 15. My weight is over and stress is high. I would love a baby but am finishing up college. If I do choose to have a baby. How can I increase my chances. A classmate told me yhat in ireland they don't allow women to carry heavy things brcause it ll affect the women's womb. Ifvthats the case. Ive worked like a man a few times..

Stop doing that. Those are very bad for you. Your vagina is like a self-cleaning oven and does not need any washing. Wash your body after sex, not your vagina.

I took human sexuality in psychology but I'm confused here... How is it that you are having safe sex if his sperm is inside of you?

Also, douching is NOT good for you and I believe that Wondergirl posted a link for you to read.

Agree the wash is very bad for you, I do not know why they are still allowed to sell those products.

A nice shower, to wash the body is a common practice both before and after sex ( your partner will appreciate the before, as you would if he showers)

But these actions have little to do with safe sex.

And working "like a man" has little to do with it either or there would be no children in 3rd world nations. It is perhaps you are lucky, so far, You do not know, since you have never had a proper exam (it appears) to find out if there is reproduction issues or not
