I have a Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan MDL 46011 that have the following issue:

Fan speed is to slow on the hight mode, do not have remote control, operation by hanging chain.

What does the speed do on the other 2 settings. Motor speed is limited by the number of pole windings and how they are connected. If you have 3 speeds, you are probably limited by design.

I found the problem, my wife hit one of the fan blades causing the blade to twist .l messure all the blades back and put them all to the same extent and solved the problem .
