I have been looking for someone to talk to about this; I have had this since I was a kid. I can tell you exact scenarios of what's going to happen and who's going to do it! My great grandmother had this ability as well she could read a persons soul I told her and now I do it! I don't really feel blessed, the majority of the time it makes me sad or angry.

Reread some of the previous responses in this thread then.

It is a gift, it's not something you choose to know, It's a gift of prophesy, if people think it's strange, go back and read your bible, it's nothing new, God has a reason he sometimes wants you to know things, yes only God can know the future, but he can choose to show you things that are going to happen. This goes back at least four generations in my family that I know of, this has nothing to do with mediums or any of that garbage, If God allows you to see something, he has a specific reason

it doesn't work like that, you have no choice over what you are shown, it's random, I'm 41 years old and as long as I can remember it's never been wrong, if God chooses you to know things, then he will give you the wisdom and strength to carry on that burden,

Yes, God does disperse His gifts to people. They are Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and they function in those who HAVE the Holy Spirit. Keep in mind that Satan uses counterfeits. The reason for this is not for people to do his evil will, but to deceive and confuse people just enough to misunderstand how God really works.

You don't want this to happen. Often you can just choose not to dwell on it. Like waking up and thinking what am I going to do today? You can lay there and think through everything you want to do that day into as much detail as you want or you can just get up and go about your day. Yes the thoughts and images you have premonitions of will pop up here and there but it is up to you how much you give in to dwelling on it. Also are you warning people and do they heed your warning or do you just not tell people?
