    Am I pregnant?
I started my period September 11th and it ended September 17th. I bled for 7days. I had unprotected sex the day after my period ended and he ejaculated in me. Could I be pregnant? By the way I have regular monthly periods.

It's possible. You won't know until next month when your period is due. If you miss it, wait two weeks after it is late and test using first morning urine.

Liddo pains? Do you mean "a little pain?"

It may be ovulation. You only had sex 3 days ago. You couldn't be pregnant that fast.

It takes 3-5 days for the sperm to reach the egg and then another 3-5 days for the fertilized egg to reach the uterus where it begins to implant. That's a minimum of 6-10 days after sex before the implantation process begins.

The first symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. You are now playing the waiting game and have to wait to see if your next period comes as expected.

If you are 17 and not ready to be a mother, you aren't ready by the way, you should stop this risky behavior before it's too late.

So your family and his family are willing to foot the bill for a baby? Do you know how expensive they are?

Do you also know the health risks you place upon yourself by being pregnant at your age? Some of those health risks are permanent.

Good for you. I hope, if you are pregnant, you don't get any of the common illnesses accompanied with teen pregnancy.

Just because your cousin is fine doesn't mean you will be.

I'm not being negative, I'm being realistic. I am a labor and delivery nurse and I've seen what can happen to girls your age.
