I was watching an old movie ( from the 50's, I would guess) because the color was very vivid like one of the early technicolor systems. It involved a lady who worked at a waterpark (Florida, I think), who was discovered by an agent who took her to the big city and worked her very hard. In one scene a curtain opened and she was wearing a gorgeous orange dress because she was supposed to be "Miss Orange" or something like that but she had fallen asleep because she was so tired. The agent looked like Van Johnson but I don't think it was because I couldn't find this movie in his filmography.
