This was originally to cool-guy. But, I wanted to discuss this. I personally think I'm to young to have sex, so is cool guy. I mean like, how do you want to do that at your age. Yes I understand his feeling though, there was a girl in 5th grade that took a boy WAY to seriously... I dream what it will be like... when I am 21. Then I will say, "Ok where do I start" yes I do have a girlfriend, but we have been doing it slow. It is for a fact we both know we shouldn't kiss until we are at least teens.

Plus it is scientifically proven that you have to be in a instance realization ship like for a year. Then be able to have a baby. Plus for all you people who think I THAT if a girl and a boy went I to a room to have sex for 5 minutes that boy isn't going to come out saying... "Mommy, mommy, I gotta girl pregnant!" It doesn't work like that. Don't ask how I know this, I am very well educated...

Lack of proper supervision giving kids the opportunity to be inappropriate,
Lack of guidance in setting rules, and boundaries of good behavior to protect and inform kids.
Lack of age appropriate knowledge to reinforce the rules, and boundaries.

Obviously I think its about the parents. Kids may have feelings, urges, and ideas as they grow to adult hood, but until they are actual independent adults, its on the parents.

Indeed it can get out of hand. My 5th grade was disturbing.

Sometimes children sneak away and learn stuff from school... so it's not always on the parents. Children choose not to tell them stuff. I'm still in 6-9 TH grade.

The only person you have to worry about is yourself.

That you are not yet a teenager yourself, the idea of sex and relationships and pregnancy as you've mentioned, seems to be something that you don't need to worry about until you are much older.

What you know now, in other words, is enough for a pre-teen.

I haven't a clue what that means. What is an "instance realization ship"?

The only requirement to having a baby is that the female ovulates and the male produces sperm and impregnates the female.

I think that the media has portrayed romantic relationships, including sexual activity in such a light that children want to grow up too fast and emulate adult behaviors before they are ready.

And this business about what a boy might do is inane. Who would ever think that? I can see a very young child like less than 6 doing something like that after being alone in a room with a girl. But not someone older.

I think OP is talking about how some people try to conceive and it takes them a year or two before they can. Not sure what that has to do with the original point.

Its still on the parents to always know where their kids are, and who they are with, and what they are doing. True some are more supervised than others, and some parents need more help supervising their kids than others.

There should be no place a child can go, that parents aren't aware of. Of course sometimes children don't even know they are being watched or supervised and just think they get away with being sneaky.

I know some kids do learn the wrong things before they are ready, and act out in some innappropriate ways because of a lack of guidance, and are tempted by their own curiosity, and new feelings, and its kind of sad when for whatever reason that some kids can get away with stuff more than others.

It still comes back to the parents, or lack of parenting. Some kids are difficult, and parents aren't perfect. Even we need help sometimes.

Be glad you have parents that care. That you can talk to and get guidance from. You are luckier than many kids, so never forget that as you see how those that don't behave.

It has become the norm of society, many teens think something is wrong with them if they haven't had their first boyfriend before 15. Entertainment makes it look like it is as simple as going to the fridge for a soda (two and a half men, family guy, etc... ). Many poorer families of single moms the mothers jump in and out of relationships. Their kids are told to call each one dad and they are all to different dads. Then they grow up and think it is normal. I know there are more kids that aren't looking for sex but it has become more normal than it was in the 60's. People say that it is no different, but statistics show more kids are having sex at a younger age than the 60's and the birth rate of unwed teens is higher even with abortion being more common now than it was before.

The only people who could have "hacked" your account would be someone who uses your computer.
