Use Excel to keep track of recipe ingredients
How can I use Excel to track ingredients in 100 recipes - with costs and measurements? I took a 6 week course several years ago but now it seems totally different! I thought I would be able to type ingredients into a column, measurements into a column, costs etc. and then somehow be able to track or summarize. Is there a service somewhere that will set up the formula sheet for me and then I just type in the data? Help!

First, Excel is a spreadsheet, not a database. While it can be used to track some data, its better sited for crunching numbers. A database like Access is a better tool.

That being said, there is a recipe tracker template in the list of Excel templates.
