I'm 26 years old and trying for another baby I started tracking my fertile days last month had no idea I was missing them until I saw my doctor about it. I took a ovulation test for 4 days finally on the third or 4th day I got a positive wich I believe was September 5th or 6th I know for for 3 days it was coming up positive the line was as dark as the first my last period was August 18, I started trying about August 31st then every other day up until my positive ovulation reading my my cycles are from what my obgyn told is 32-35 days which are regular now. I thought I was suppose to start my period September 19th but I didn't took a clear blue pregnancy test and it said not pregnant could I have maybe taken it too early? Now my cycles are coming regular the most I'll be late is 2 days which makes my cycles 32 to 35 days in wondering if I did the test to early and I should wait until a couple if days and see if my period comes? I don't know its fusterating. If anyone has any ideas on this I would appreciate the advice thanks..

Yes, you tested too early. It's best to wait until your period is 2 weeks late before testing using first morning urine.

thank you for your reply I had a feeling maybe I tested too early I'm not sure if my period was due September 19th or if its due September 22nd the period calculator I used says the 22nd but auguast was my 32 day cycle when I had my period in July it was July 16th then I had one August 18th which made my cycle 32 days that's what I used to calculate my next period which gave me September 19th I can go from 32 to 35 day cycle it makes it a little more complicated I think. But we were trying before my ovulation day was detected and during my fertile days. I guess I have to wait would it be too early to get symptoms of pregnancy? I've had and still have lower back pains and had cramps even a week or so before my period and still do have cramps no bleeding yet I'm not very hopeful now that I took that pregnancy test usually my period is regular now it pretty much comes on time only time will tell I guess..

I have missed my period and Im normally on a 32- 35 day cycle I counted from my last period which was August 18th from my should have been next period September 22nd I'm on my 37 day cycle today which is unusual I never go this long not in months. I'm kind of hesitant about taking a pregnancy test now I was going to take one Oct 1st considering I possibly took the first one too soon and give it more time to see if my period comes I know I kept track of my ovulation and 3 days I tested positive on an ovulation calculator had intercourse before which I went from 30-31st and every other day from there and sometimes more. I'm hoping I am pregnant I've been waiting so long and I finally kept on track with my ovulation I had no idea before I was missing them completely. Would it still be early to take a test? Maybe I should wait until the 1st but I'm anxious.

Your period has to be at least 14 days late before you can test, before that is really not worth it.
Be sure to use first urine of the morning
