    Pph depo shot story..
So awhile bck in may I made an appointment to get the depo shot. But a couple of days Or so bfore my appointment I had protected sex on my period.. Well the day of my appointment when I went to the bathroom to change my tampon something came with it.. It was the condom of a couple of days ago I don't know how it stayd in there that long since I've showered and cleand myself and change my tampons several times obviouslly! Since the sexual encounter.. I told the nurse this when I went for my appointment to get the depo I asked could I have gotten pregnant should I restrain from getting the shot? She said it would be fine that I could still get the shot, So I did and now is September I never had no problems on the shot I think I probably may of spottd 2 days on it in the begging and dats it.. but since its September I think it the effects shouldve worn off by now well I been bleeding since August and I haven't stoppd sometimes I get really bright blood and other times I get dark blood like its old is very disturbing I don't know what it could be at all.. I made an appoint for the 24th of this month.. Please HELP IF YOU KNO OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS!

Hi there lady :) I'm on the depo shot it's completely normal I bled for 2 months on the depo it's your body trying to get used to having this new hormone inside your body. After the second injection all symptoms etc should go away I'm on my 3rd injection and my body is completely used to it now. Hope I helped!

Yep it is normal, your body is trying to get back to it's old ways. It takes up to 3-4 months for your periods to return to normal.

So I don't need to see the doctor then.. Because I don't want to pay an expensive bill either.. You think my body will just regulate it self within time?
Does that mean I'm on my period.. Because I'm spotting?
And thank you for your answers by the way.. :)

I'd say you wouldn't have to, maybe take a pregnancy test to make sure you aren't perhaps pregnant. Yes you are most likely on your period now :) and your body is getting back into having a period. :) my pleasure.

One thing for sure I am never having something go into my body with out knowing all the side effects..
And making sure its not harmful to my body because all I keep reading is so much negative tjings about this shot not being always able to bcome pregnant after the use of it is kind of alerting and scary.

:) that's a lie depo is like any other birth control. You'll be able to fall pregnant after being on it it's only if you stay on any form of birth control for over 5 years that it starts making you possibly infertile :)

If you are on depo, remember that you may not get a period the entire time you are on it.
