    Ceiling fan
    Old fan had 4 wires, and the new fan has 3. How do I replace this?

    With 4 wires there should have been a black, white, blue and green. That would be for a fan and light. Does the new fan have a light? If not only 3 wires. Tell us some more, the info is a bit vague.

    What colors were the old fan wires and what color are the new? Is this fan remote controlled?
