How many tons is my trane TTR042C100A1 air conditioner

I would guess 3 1/2. 42, 000 BTU = 12,000 X 3.5

Thanks, I think that is right. I have read somewhere if you divide the 42 by 12 it will give you the tons. I wasn't sure if that was correct. Thanks again

12,000 BTU per ton AC. Only works for AC.
