    Historic Paint Color/Restoration
I'm hoping I can get some paint color suggestions but something along the line of warms and neutrals. The home is historic with brown aluminum siding that currently has all white window trim. The roof has shingles that look reddish brown.I were thinking of an off white for trim and accent the sash light to medium green or Gray? But I definitely don't want it all one color,I want to mix some earthy colors in to make the property more friendly and inviting. The back/front porch is dark chocolate color I want something a little lighter?Would like front & back porch different color, but if best they match so be it.Front porch has three 4 x 6 columns on either side that that hold up roof on porch.Should this be painted in same color of trim or can the base trim be highlighted? Last of all,the dark chocolate concrete steps and the brick bases on both sides with pier caps need attention.I would like the cap a different color to stand out a bit more, but maybe keep the brick same as porch color,I don't know?

Never saw a historic house with aluminum siding on it.

Get a painting contractor to come out and have a look. It is hard to give advice when unable to see what it looks like.

There is also the look that you want and are trying to get. There are some paint stores that have a program to let you do what you want without touching a brush. Benjamin Moore is one.
