You don't... you have to get a GED now... you don't get to go to high-school all over again as an adult free. That ship already sailed. That means night school. And paying for the classes.
Grants are usually for people going to college that need help funding it, not people that dropped out of high school and years later realized they made a mistake.
You had your chance, and you didn't take it. I don't think any organization will help you pay for a second chance at a high school diploma.
When I was 19 I decided to take Math 30 over again so I could upgrade my diploma and get into a better college. I had to pay $300 to take the course at the high school. That was a much better price than $700 to take it by correspondence.
Fact is, if you want this diploma, you'll end up paying for it. I don't know of any grant that would help. But if you can find one, all the better. A GED is probably your best option. Start saving towards it.
Good luck.
Call the reference desk at your public library and they will give you the straight dope on getting a G.E.D. at a low-cost in your area --and where you can go for classes (or if you can do it online). If not the library, call the main office at an area high school.
