    Monitor No signal
Hello, just yesterday I was on my computer (not the one I'm currently on) and I restarted my computer. As soon as it started to load up again, there was no display on the monitor, just a black screen as if the computer was off. Ive tried disconnecting the wires, I've plugged it into a different monior, same result. At this point I'm thinking it's the video card, and praying it is not, as I don't have the money for a new one. Can anyone help me out?

Yeah the card was screwed on in the case... I don't think it could have moved but I'm going to try it again and see... god I hope I don't have to replace it

My system XP. Installed new motherboard. Turned on CPU hooked up monitor, I hear motor & fan but no beep. Monitor is black. Keyboard light is black. Redline box says Please check signal. Made sure all connections are tight, inside and outside.
    Monitor works on other computer.
One thing is different, I have to turn the pin cable upside down to connect it. It will not connect right side up as with the other computer.
Is this my problem? Do I need a new monitor cable for a new motherboard? Thank you for your suggestion. Regards, Dor
