    F-1 to H-1
    Hi,
    Currently, I am residing in US with F-1 status, enrolling 12 credit hours. I am getting my H1 visa this Oct 1. since summer semester is optional, I am not enrolling any classes for that. But still, there is around 40 days gap before Oct 1. I don't want to waste my money to enrol for Fall semester. Is that OK for me not enrolling any classes for Fall semester ? Or is there any option I have to solve the gap problem ?

    Also, If I really have to enrol 12 credit hours for Fall semester, what I need to do when I receive my H1 visa this Oct 1 ? Can I just drop all the classes by the time ?

    Woln't you have your OPT after this semester? Are you masters student? Dropping the classes is not a good idea.
